These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CheapFlightsFrom.com, its pages, emails, alerts, images and related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by S. Lavie Media LTD, a company registered in Israel, with its address at Hataysim, Ashkelon, Israel (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, which form part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use the Service.
2. What we are (and what we are not)
The Service is an information and comparison service. We collect publicly available and partner-provided flight fare information, analyse it, and display fares we believe are good value.
- We are not an airline, travel agency, tour operator or booking agent. We do not sell tickets, take payments for travel, issue tickets or act on behalf of any airline or booking provider.
- All bookings are made directly with third parties (such as online travel agencies or airlines), under their own terms, prices, fees and policies. Any contract for travel is solely between you and that third party.
- Labels such as “deal”, “price drop”, “−40% vs usual” or “error fare” are automated statistical comparisons with prices we have previously observed. They are not a guarantee of savings, availability or that a fare will be honoured.
- Nothing on the Service is travel, legal, visa, health or financial advice.
3. Prices, availability and accuracy
- Fares shown are based on data collected from third-party sources, often found by other travellers within the previous hours or days. Prices and availability change constantly and may differ, or no longer be available, when you reach the booking site.
- Displayed prices may not include baggage, seat selection, payment card fees, taxes added at checkout, or other charges. Currency conversions are approximate.
- Schedules, airlines, stops and durations shown may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always verify the final price, itinerary, baggage rules, passport, visa and entry requirements with the booking provider before paying.
- Error fares are fares that appear to be priced far below normal, possibly by mistake. Airlines and agencies may cancel or refuse to honour them. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, any cancellation. We recommend not making non-refundable arrangements until your ticket is confirmed.
- We may correct errors, remove listings or change any content at any time without notice.
4. Affiliate links and how we earn money
The Service is free to use. Many links on the Service (including “Check this fare” buttons) are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the provider or from an affiliate network (for example Travelpayouts). This does not increase the price you pay. Affiliate links contain anonymous tracking codes so the provider can attribute the referral to us. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
5. Third-party sites and services
The Service links to websites, booking engines and content operated by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, prices, availability, privacy practices, security, customer service, refunds, cancellations, delays, or any act or omission of airlines and booking providers. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms. A link does not imply endorsement.
6. Deal alerts and communications
If you subscribe to alerts, you agree that we may send you emails (and, where you opt in, other messages) about flight deals related to your preferences. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. You are responsible for providing an email address you are authorised to use. Alerts are provided on a best-effort basis; we do not guarantee that any alert will be sent, timely or accurate.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl, harvest, copy or systematically extract data from the Service by automated means (other than search engines indexing public pages in accordance with our robots.txt), or use the Service's data to build a competing product or dataset;
- interfere with, overload, probe or bypass any security or access control of the Service, including the admin area and APIs;
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose, or to send spam;
- impersonate any person, or submit someone else's email address without permission;
- frame, mirror or republish the Service, or manipulate affiliate links (including stripping, replacing or generating fraudulent clicks or conversions);
- introduce malware or any code designed to harm the Service or its users.
We may suspend or block access to anyone who violates these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, logo, the name “CheapFlightsFrom”, text, graphics, generated images, software, data compilations and analysis, is owned by S. Lavie Media LTD or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view and share pages and deal links for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, reproduction or distribution requires our prior written consent. Airline and third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, email legal@cheapflightsfrom.com with sufficient detail for us to locate and assess it.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY PRICE, FARE OR DEAL IS ACCURATE, CURRENT OR AVAILABLE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, S. LAVIE MEDIA LTD, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, SAVINGS, DATA, OR TRAVEL-RELATED COSTS (INCLUDING MISSED, CANCELLED OR CHANGED FLIGHTS, PRICE DIFFERENCES, ACCOMMODATION OR VISA COSTS), ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD 100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case these limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted, and nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless S. Lavie Media LTD and its directors, employees and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence, the competent courts of the Tel Aviv-Yafo district, Israel, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service. To the extent permitted by law, any claim must be brought individually and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding, and must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arose.
13. Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Effective date” above shows the latest version. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. We may terminate or restrict your access at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
14. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. You may not assign them without our consent.
- Language. These Terms are written in English; any translation is for convenience only.
